General information
The MoVe-In project is a measurable and controllable mileage exemption enabled through the installation of a black box device on the vehicle.
Telematics Service Providers, or TSPs, are authorised to provide users with the service for measuring and transmitting mileage data.
The MoVe-In project is available to owners of the following vehicles: Diesel Euro 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4; Diesel Euro 5, for Milan Area B only; Petrol Euro 0, 1 and 2; LPG and Methane Euro 0 and 1, except in the Veneto Region.
1. Register on the Lombardy Region portal.
2. Receive your Membership ID.
3. Create your Air account.
4. Access MyPage.
5. Complete payment.
6. Install the device.
7. Download the app.
If you have chosen Air as your TSP, payment is made inside your reserved MyPage area by credit card, prepaid card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or SEPA Direct Debit (SDD).
The list of installers is organised by province on the official myair.io website, in the section dedicated to the project.
The official app is the Lombardy Region app called “Move-In”, available on the Play Store and App Store.
To access the app, scan the QR code found in the “My Smartphone Devices” section of your personal page on the regional website.
Through the installed Black Box, which records every journey 24/7. The data can be viewed in the Move-In app.
Mileage is counted 24/7 on urban roads, motorways and ring roads in participating municipalities.
Open the Move-In app and check that the exemption status on the home page is marked as “Active” with a green dot.
The number of annual kilometres is defined according to the type and environmental class of the vehicle.
From the home page of the Move-In app, you can check the kilometres driven and the remaining kilometres.
Yes. You can send a formal request to the Data Protection Officer of the Lombardy Region at rpd@regione.lombardia.it.
The document is made available by the Italian Exchange System, SdI, in the reserved area of the Italian Revenue Agency website.
Service renewal
1. Renew your exemption on the Regional portal.
2. Renew the service on Air MyPage. The cost is €25.
Log in to the Lombardy Region website using SPID or CNS. The exemption must be renewed annually.
You will need to renew the exemption for each vehicle individually.
Starting from 30 days before the expiry date.
You have a 15-day grace period. After that, you will need to complete the registration again from the beginning.
Yes, by requesting a new registration or reactivation on the Regional portal.
If your Air plan has expired, you need to renew your subscription on MyPage.
Use your vehicle registration plate as your username and the password you set on mypage.myair.io.
Use the “Forgot Password” function on the MyPage login page.
After renewing the Regional exemption, log in to Air MyPage, go to the “Services” section and pay for the renewal.
In the “Services” section of MyPage, use the arrow next to the registration plate to switch vehicle.
You can pay by credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or SEPA Direct Debit from MyPage. Cost: €25 for 12 months or €49 for 24 months.
Revoke the service on the Regional portal, uninstall the device and send an email to movein@myair.io
Faq
The ID has already been registered. Check the email from info@myair.io, including your Spam folder.
No. You need to complete payment first and then schedule the appointment.
Check the LEDs on the battery. If they are off, call the installer or Air on +39 0381 092120.
This is correct. It is used to verify the card. The actual charge will be made immediately afterwards.
Disconnect the device and reconnect it once the work is complete. Please notify us if it remains disconnected for more than 2 weeks.
Submit a new registration on the Regional portal, keep your Membership ID and registration plate ready, and contact Air. Installation costs are at your expense.
Revoke the service on the Regional portal. The device remains yours, so please keep it.
Register on the Lombardy Region portal. If you choose Air, call them to unlink the previous profile.
Clear your cache, use incognito mode or try a different payment method.
The vehicle is linked to the previous owner. Send the registration plate and a photo of the vehicle registration document to movein@myair.io
Report it to Air. A bank transfer of €30 is required for the replacement part. Installation costs are at your expense.
No. Payment is only made through MyPage. The QR code is only for the app.
Regional Differences of the Move-In Project
The Move-In project (Monitoring of Polluting Vehicles) is active in several Italian regions, each with its own implementation rules and benefits. All of them offer a mileage-based limit as an alternative to time-based and daily driving bans. It also includes incentives for responsible behaviour (0.2 km extra for every km driven on non-urban roads/motorways at speeds between 70 km/h and 110 km/h, and 0.1 km extra for eco-driving)
