What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files, often containing an anonymous identification code, which are sent from a Web server to the User’s browser and can be subsequently stored on the hard disk of the User’s computer.

The cookie is then reread and recognized by the website that sent it each time a subsequent connection is made.

This type of information includes, but is not limited to: the type of browser used (for example, Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox); the domain name from which the User accesses the Internet; the website from which the User reached the Site; the date and time of access. This information is used, for example to improve navigation and use of a website or to enable certain functions, to avoid entering the same information at each access (such as, for example, the username and password), for statistical purposes or for the personalization of a site according to the User’s preferences.

Why do we use cookies?

The Site uses cookies to facilitate and improve the User’s browsing experience (technical cookies), to analyze each User’s use of the Site and collect access statistics (analytical cookies) and for or to ensure that the advertising content displayed online is more targeted to the user and his interests (profiling cookies).

Do I have to accept cookies?

With the exception of technical cookies and/or first party analytical cookies and/or third party analytical cookies (if suitable tools are adopted to reduce the identifying power of the analytical cookies they use and the third party does not cross-reference the information collected with other information it has), which are strictly necessary for normal navigation on the Site, the provision of data is subject to the will of the interested party who decides to navigate on the Site after having read the short information contained in the appropriate banner and to use the services that involve the installation of cookies. The interested party can, therefore, avoid the installation of cookies by keeping the banner (refraining from closing it by clicking on the “Accept” button) as well as through the appropriate functions made available in this information notice or through their browser.

AIR, according to current regulations, is not required to ask for your consent in relation to the use of technical and/or analytical cookies of first or third parties (if appropriate tools are adopted to reduce the identification power of the analytical cookies they use and the third party does not cross-reference the information collected with others available to it), as they are necessary to provide the services requested through the navigation on the Site. As a result, the latter are automatically installed by the Site when the User visits it for the first time, unless the User has the possibility to disable them as indicated in the following paragraph.

For all other types of cookies and, in particular, for third-party cookies (if you do NOT adopt appropriate tools to reduce the power of identification of analytical cookies that use and the third party does not cross-reference the information collected with others available to it) is instead required User consent through a banner that appears immediately on the Site: consent is given through an active behavior by the User by closing the banner, scrolling down the page or clicking outside the banner or continuing navigation.

In addition, the User may express or deny his/her consent by one or more of the following means

  • by accessing and modifying the settings of the browser used to navigate on the Site (in this regard, please refer to the paragraph “How can I disable cookies?”);
  • by modifying the settings when using third party services (in this regard, please refer to the paragraph “How can I disable cookies?”);
  • by changing your settings as described below.
